The project of International Cooperation and development scheduled to hold 2010 Taipei International Conference on the Investigation, Remediation and Management of Soil and Groundwater Contaminated Sites, Roundtable Conference for domestic and foreign experts, 2010 Taipei Soil and Groundwater Exhibition, Site Visit of soil and groundwater contaminate site, and 2010 Taiwan-United States Workshop on Bioremediation. All the activities are up to five days. The goal of this conference is to provide a forum for administrators, researchers, and engineers from around Asia to exchange and promote advanced concepts, technologies, and products related to the remediation and management of soil and groundwater contaminated sites. Therefore, this project mainly includes the following five-point： (1) Hold 2010 Taipei International Conference on the Investigation, Remediation and Management of Soil and Groundwater Contaminated Sites (2) Hold 2010 Taipei Soil and Groundwater Exhibition (3) Hold Roundtable Conference for domestic and foreign experts (4) Hold Site Visit of soil and groundwater contaminate site (5) Assist to hold 2010 Taiwan-United States Workshop on Bioremediation The results of the conference could be referred by relevant government departments, relevant institution of contaminated sites, academic / research institutes and engineering consultants when progressing administration, technical plan and engineering practice. Besides, the message of international conference would be sent to major Asian countries or regions which could make us a leadership position of the soil and groundwater protection issues in the Asian region.
